Version 2026-10-15-draft. American Share Market is operated by Foreman Solutions LLC, doing business as Sovereign Roots.

American Share Market is a venue. Sellers are the merchant of record. The buyer pays the farm directly, using the farm's own payment method (like a pay link or cash at pickup). The farm gets the money, not us. Refunds come from the farm. We take 0%. Your payment company may charge its own normal fee.

The market is a venue. It lists stands and lets people message or pay the seller. It is not the seller, the farm, the processor, the hauler, the insurer, or the bank.

Farm help posts are listings only. American Share Market is not an employer, a staffing agency, an employment agency, or a farm labor contractor. It does not recruit, hire, pay, transport, house, or supervise workers, and it does not charge workers or charge a fee per hire. The farm that posts the work is solely responsible for hiring, worker classification, wages, taxes, Form I-9, workers’ compensation, safety, and following the law. The market does not verify a post, a person, or a background. A review stays up unless an admin hides it after an appeal. To the fullest extent the law allows, Foreman Solutions LLC is not liable for a hiring decision, a wage, an injury, or a dispute between a farm and a worker.

Donated food is handled the same way. The market does not take possession of, inspect, transport, or certify donated food, and it does not issue donation receipts. The farm is the donor. A purchase from a farm, including a box the farm says it will donate, is not a charitable gift and is not tax-deductible. Backing a farm on this market is a purchase or a gift of goods, not an investment.

The farm or other seller is the merchant of record. That seller alone is responsible for the product, the price, refunds, disputes, taxes, licenses, food safety, labeling, and every local, state, and federal law that applies.

Food sold here is never shipped to another state. Food sales are local: pickup, or in-person delivery or mail within the seller's own state where that state allows it.

A seller agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Foreman Solutions LLC, and its members and agents, from claims that come from the seller’s products, listings, promises, or failure to follow the law.

The market is provided as is. There is no warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or of uninterrupted service.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Foreman Solutions LLC is not liable for lost profits, lost food, a bad delivery, a chargeback, or any indirect or consequential damages. If a claim is allowed, liability is limited to the amount that person paid to Foreman Solutions LLC in the prior three months, which may be zero.

Foreman Solutions LLC may remove a listing or a stand, or close an account, when a listing breaks these terms or the law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Foreman Solutions LLC, doing business as Sovereign Roots, is organized in Virginia. Disputes are handled in the state or federal courts located in Virginia. A lawyer has not signed this page.
