Raw milk and herd shares

The rules on file mark herd shares, not raw milk sales.

Herd shares on file: allowed. A new herd-share listing is allowed. A raw milk sale is blocked.

Raw milk sales are illegal in Ohio, but there is a grandfather provision for those engaged in the continuous sale of retail raw milk since 1965. There are no longer any raw milk producers meeting this criterion in Ohio. Herd share arrangements have been allowed pursuant to court ruling. Schmitmeyer

unverified (no state CSA-specific rule found; federal SNAP 14-day rule applies)
